Terms of use

1. The Service

PlateSight helps dietitians follow their clients' meals. Clients photograph their meals in the app, an artificial intelligence service estimates the foods, portions and calories, and the dietitian sees the results in the panel, where they can correct them and add notes and weight records.

2. Accounts

Dietitian accounts are opened with an e-mail address and password or, where offered, with a Google, Facebook or Instagram account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for all activity under your account.

Clients use the app with the invite code given by their dietitian. The code stays valid while the client is active in the dietitian's account.

3. Your responsibilities as a dietitian

• You add clients only with their knowledge and consent, and you inform them about how their data is processed.
• You are responsible for the professional advice you give. PlateSight is a support tool and does not replace professional judgement.
• You use the Service in line with the laws and professional rules that apply to you.

4. Calorie estimates

Food, portion and calorie values are estimated automatically from photos and may be wrong. They are not medical advice. Clients and dietitians can correct the values; decisions about nutrition and health remain with the dietitian and the client.

5. Individual use

Individual use is for information only and is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an eating disorder or a chronic illness, talk to a doctor or dietitian before changing your diet.

The number of free daily analyses is limited and may change.

6. Plans and payment

The free plan allows up to 3 active clients. Paid plans are prepaid for the chosen period (1 or 12 months) and are not renewed automatically. When a period ends, the account returns to the free plan; data is not deleted.

Prices are set in Turkish lira (TRY), and payments are taken in TRY through the bank's secure payment page. Amounts shown in euros are approximate. Your card details are entered on the bank's page; we do not see or store them.

We may change plan prices. A change does not affect a period that has already been paid.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, for example by trying to access other users' data, disrupting the Service, uploading unlawful content or reselling the Service without our permission.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change or remove features. Significant changes to these terms will be published on this page.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made on the basis of calorie estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending use

You can stop using the Service at any time. To have your account and data deleted, write to info@supernova2.com. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously breach these terms.
